The new inhibitor process PWP (Pure Water Process)

As has already been widely demonstrated, lead is toxic if ingested, it follows that the taps and fittings most at risk are those intended for the supply of water for food use (sink and kitchen).
Nickel is not only toxic but also responsible for many contact allergies, so its release from the entire range of taps and fittings must be monitored. The new process PWP (Pure Water Process) , inhibits the release of toxic metals such as Lead and Nickel, normally present in taps, into drinking water.
The innovative process PWP , consists of two treatments. The first treatment guarantees the chemical elimination of Lead from taps and valves, the second treatment is represented by an electrolytic Nickel deposit extremely resistant to corrosion, added with particular products that do not allow the release of Nickel ions in contact with water.
These results were obtained under the most extreme conditions: tests conducted on valves at pH=5 and at a temperature of 82° C, as required by the NSF 61 standard.
The de-lead process Clean Lead specially modified, helps inhibit the dissolution of metals such as Lead, Copper and Zinc in drinking water, bath PWP completes the work by almost totally eliminating the release of nickel ions.

Characteristics

1* These mixers for water purification systems (3 – 4 – 5 ways) are printed with UNI EN12165 brass CW 617N-M st. bar low lead content, as required by DM174. Furthermore, they are subjected to a treatment called PWP (Pure Water Process) which allows for a further reduction in lead and nickel release.

2* The body/barrel fittings and food pipe fittings are made with UNI EN121165 brass bar CW 614N-M also low in lead. Furthermore, they are treated with an innovative method called TEA (Ternary Eco Alloy) which replaces the classic nickel/chromium deposit while equally guaranteeing resistance to corrosion and satisfies the limits imposed by current International Regulations applied to water intended for human consumption (NSF 61 section 8).

3* DM 174 Annex III – Article 5 of the regulation. As regards the article cited above, we use a food pipe to eliminate the contact of the purified water with the tap pipe and also to have total separation of the water up to the outlet. The pipe we use is the LLDPE Pipe by JOHN GUEST, which is certified by the American NSF Agency (Specifications NSF51 and NSF61) and by the English Drinking Water Agency WRAS, furthermore the raw material is FDA approved.
