Reduces nitrate concentration in drinking water. 0.5 micron antimicrobial carbon block filtration with nitrate selective resin mixed with activated carbon.
Profine® NITRATES eliminates unwanted odors and flavors. The quick-connect cartridge is a disposable type made with extruded carbon block technology added with silver to perform the bacteriostatic action.

Removes bad taste and odor, chlorine, dirt, rust, suspended matter not visible to the naked eye, mold and algae. Nitrate reduction with strong macroporous anionic resin, for drinking water with nitrate concentration max 50 mg/l.

(Leave a vertical space of approximately 7 cm under the cartridge to allow for replacement.)
• Activation: It is advisable to let the water flow through the filter at maximum pressure and with maximum flow rate, for at least 5 minutes to allow the air present in the filter to be purged.
• Changing cartridges: When capacity has reached, or when flow is too slow (falls below 0.7bar/10psi), every 6 months but at least annually.

Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system. Systems certified for contaminant reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable contaminants. All systems must be maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions.
