Profine Nitrates Large Filter

Filtration capacity: 0.5 micron

Disposable cartridge for the treatment of drinking water with nitrate selective resin.

For use with drinking water with a nitrate concentration of 50 mg/l

Reduces nitrate concentration, turbidity, THM chlorine, tastes and odors.

Uses only the Profine R Large filter head (used only by ion exchange resin based filters)

Short description:

Thanks to the combination of selective nitrate resin and carbon block technology, it offers the guarantee of good and safe water to drink, reducing potentially harmful substances.

Installation and use

Bayonet mount for PRO:fine Thinkwater heads and similar.

Vertical or horizontal installation with the aid of cartridge support clips.

1) Before removing the filter cartridge, close the water inlet and eliminate the pressure in the circuit by opening the downstream tap.

2) Rotate the used cartridge 90° clockwise, then remove the cartridge from the head.

3) Insert the new cartridge, after removing the protective cap, and rotate it 90° counterclockwise.

4) Open the inlet valve and dispense water to activate the new cartridge for at least 3 minutes.

After short periods of non-use, let the water flow before removing it for drinking.

If the system is not used for a long time, disinfect it.

Intended use

Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system.

Profine Nitrates is a filter with a quick bayonet connection. Inside it is made of a selective resin for nitrates, mixed with activated carbon and silver ions.
