Pump head usage instructions
- The working pressure in the final application must always be at least 2 BAR (1 BAR=14.50 PSI) less than that indicated on the nameplate data label in reference to the setting value of the by-pass valve.
- It is important to point out that the by-pass valve is intended only as a safety device and must be considered as such.
- It is recommended to consider adequate protections in your systems to limit inlet pressure and water hammer. The pressure of the mains water has a significant impact on the operation of your machine and in the case of high or irregular pressures it is advisable to use a pressure reducer and anti-shock devices upstream of the appliance to avoid malfunctions. However, please note that the use of such measures does not in any way replace incorrect design of the appliance.
- The pumping system is designed to be used with drinking water and the materials whose components come into contact with water intended for human consumption are made with suitable materials in accordance with Ministerial Decree 06 April 2004 n. 174. If the pumping system is used for other purposes it may no longer be used for drinking water.
