• Filmtec TW30 1812 50 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane (189 liters/day)
• It is used in standard vessels for residential reverse osmosis water treatment systems.
• The life of the membrane depends on the quality of the water to be treated, which is reduced in case of high presence of dissolved salts and chlorine. To evaluate the condition of the membranes, it is recommended to use a digital tester to check the value of the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) or electrical conductivity (EC) of the water before and after treatment.
• All models are NSF / ANSI 58 certified for the reduction of Arsenic (Pentavalent "V"), Barium, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent), Chromium (Trivalent), Copper, Cysts, Turbidity, Fluoride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium and TDS and are certified DM 174/2004 (Italian Ministry Decree). The membrane removes up to 98% of total dissolved solids (TDS), providing healthier and safer drinking water.

• Attention
• - The membrane shows some resistance to short-term attack by chlorine (hypochlorite).
• Continuous exposure, however, may damage the membrane and should be avoided.
• - It is recommended to use an activated carbon pre-filter as an initial water treatment to remove chlorine.
